Pandemonium, Scores Feared Dead As Military Jets Bombard Lagos, Ogun Creeks in Search of Militants

Punch Newspaper reports that pandemonium ensued on Thursday in the Arepo area of Ogun State and some part of Lagos State after the military bombarded the base of suspected militants in the states.
It was gathered that scores of militants were reportedly killed in the joint military operation which lasted for more than one hour.

Lebanese Businessman Kidnapped By Gunmen in Ibadan

THE General Manager of Black Horse Industries Limited, Mr. S. Sakalawi, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Lebanese was seized and whisked away by three gunmen, who stormed the factory premises located along Old Lagos Road, Podo area of Ibadan at about 9:30p.m last Tuesday, according to reliable sources.
