Unknown Gunmen Abduct Syrian Engineer In Nasarawa, Central Nigeria

The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of a Syrian engineer, Mah Nagor, by unknown gunmen. The command’s spokesman, ASP Ismalia Numan, told newsmen on Tuesday in Lafia that Nagor was abducted on Monday at a site in Azara, Awe Local Government Area.

Phyllis Sortor, a missionary with the Free Methodist Church, was seized on February 23 in the village of Emiworo in Kogi state.

Ex-NBA President, Okey Wali, Kidnapped In Rivers State

PORT HARCOURT— Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Mr. Okey Wali, SAN, has been kidnapped in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He was abducted around Rumuologu Road Saturday night in his vehicle which was later abandoned by the kidnappers at Ozuoba area of Obio/ Akpor Local Government Area. At press time, no group had claimed responsibility for the action nor any ransom demanded.

Lebanese Businessman Kidnapped By Gunmen in Ibadan

THE General Manager of Black Horse Industries Limited, Mr. S. Sakalawi, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Lebanese was seized and whisked away by three gunmen, who stormed the factory premises located along Old Lagos Road, Podo area of Ibadan at about 9:30p.m last Tuesday, according to reliable sources.
