Easter Holiday: UK Foreign Office Issues Terror Alert To Citizens in Nigeria

The United Kingdom’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office has issued a terror alert to its citizens currently living in Nigeria or planning to visit the country to be more vigilant during the Easter period.

US, UK, Canada Warn Citizens Against Travelling to Kaduna, Borno, Adamawa, Others

The United States and United Kingdom have warned their citizens against travelling to several states in Nigeria, including Kaduna, where international flights will be diverted to as from March 8, 2017.
The travel warning follows a recent announcement by the Federal Government of the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for six weeks due to repairs on its runway.
Other countries that have issued similar warnings include Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Boko Haram Insurgency: Nigeria Not Safe Yet – US, UK and Canada Warn It's Citizens

Notwithstanding the weakening of Boko Haram’s capacity to carry out large-scale attacks against civilians and soldiers by Nigerian troops in the North-East, the United States, United Kingdom and Canada still warn their citizens against travelling to Nigeria.
