Boko Haram Militants Kill Four Abduct Two People In Borno Highway Attack

Suspected members of Boko Haram sect on Sunday ambushed commercial motorists on a Borno State highway, killing four persons, injuring three others and kidnapping two, a member of the youth vigilance group said on Sunday.
A youth vigilance member, Ali Ngulde, disclosed this while speaking with our correspondent, adding that the notorious militants ambushed commercial motorists at a remote village, Nwajurko, near Sabon Gari in Damboa Local Government Area.
Ngulde said, ”Boko Haram, in a highway ambush, killed four persons, abducted two, and injured three others on the Maiduguri-Damboa-Biu highway.”
A source at Biu General Hospital, who spoke on condition of anonymity to our correspondent, said three persons were brought to the hospital and they were in a critical condition as a result of serious gunshot injuries.
‎Sabon Gari village is located in the southern part of Borno State. It is about 125 kilometres away from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
