Twelve people including a
pastor, Mr. Babatunde Balogun, were yesterday paraded before newsmen by
the police and DSS in Ekiti State for being members of a kidnap
syndicate.
Four others were also wanted in connection with the crime.
Kenneth Felix Ozoh, Jonathan Ozoh, Kehinde Adeleye and Sunday Ogunleye, were behind the kidnap of a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Dr Femi Omisore, a priest with the Catholic Diocese, Rev Fr. Emmanuel Akingbade and other victims recently kidnapped in the state.

The DSS State Director, Mr Duke Fubara and the Police Commissioner, Mr Etop James, who spoke at the ceremony, said the suspects had confessed to the crimes while the pastor was giving spiritual counselling to them and sharing from their loots.
