Federal Authorities Charge 6 People In The U.S For Terrorism

(CNN) Federal authorities have charged six people with aiding terrorists overseas. The Department of Justice accuses them of conspiring to provide materials and money to terrorists in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. Two of them are accused of conspiring to kill and harm people overseas.
The materials include U.S. military uniforms, boots, tactical gear and optical devices such as scopes.
All six defendants immigrated to the United States from Bosnia, according to a Justice Department statement from Friday. Three of them are naturalized citizens.

Five of the defendants have been arrested in the United States, while one is overseas, the Justice Department said.

The defendants are: Ramiz Zijad Hodzic, 40; his wife, Sedina Unkic Hodzic, 35; and Armin Harcevic, 37.

They all live in St. Louis County, Missouri. Also charged are Nihad Rosic, 26, of Utica, New York; Mediha Medy Salkicevic, 34, of Schiller Park, Illinois; and Jasminka Ramic, 42, of Rockford, Illinois.

Rosic and Ramiz Zijad Hodzic are suspected of planning to join terrorists in battle.
