The acting Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, has decentralized the issuance of tinted glass permit to vehicles.
The state commissioners of police have been mandated to issue the permit to interested persons in their respective states.
According to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Cornelius Aderanti, who disclosed this

Aderanti said based on the new delegation of power, residents of Lagos State could direct their applications to the command.
“Such applications should be accompanied by documents which include the photocopies of the vehicle papers such as the vehicle license.

“Also, the photograph of the vehicle capturing the front and rear number plates must be included,” he said.
He added that the two passport photographs of the vehicle’s owner and the photocopy of the driving license must also be included in the application.
