Massive Shake-up As Nigerian Army Redeploys 334 Senior Officers

The authorities of the Nigerian Army have redeployed 334 senior officers.The acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, said in an electronic mail on Wednesday that the postings and appointments approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen. Tukur Buratai, affected 37 Major Generals, 57 Brig. Generals, 128 Colonels, several lieutenant colonels and others.

Boko Haram Kill 29 in Fresh Attack on Dille, Borno Village

A member of the House of Representatives representing Hawul and Askira-Uba constituency of Borno state, Hon. Jubrin Satumari, on Tuesday confirmed a terrorist  attack on Dille and its surrounding villages in Askira-Uba local government area of the troubled Northeastern Nigeria state on Monday where  29 persons were killed.
