Angry youths from restive communities of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State yesterday went wild and invaded Imo State General Hospital, Umugwuma, setting, at least, 10 vehicles ablaze as well as the state office of Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO).
According to an eye witness who narrated the incident to The AUTHORITY, the youths who numbered over twenty were protesting the alleged killing of one of them by the state security outfit, Imo Network.
The youths, according to the witness, had gone in search of the corpse at the state hospital and on confirming the death went wild, destroying properties in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem, has confirmed the incident, but said that no arrest had been made.
