The two blasts occurred within and outside the market premises, injuring several other persons.
An eyewitness account revealed that the explosions happened when two
females detonated the bombs after they sneaked inside the large crowds
of people at the market.
It was gathered that the first explosion occurred at the first gate of
the market near a generator and the second exploded at the second gate
which is the main entrance of the market.
The State police commissioner, Alhaji Muhammad Katsina, has already
visited the scene of the blast but causality details are yet to be
known.
