'Actionable Intelligence’ From The U.S. On Chibok Girls Was Ignored By Nigerian Military

A revealing report by the New York Times on the faltering relationship between Nigeria and the United States of America has shown that when the Pentagon came up with what it called “actionable intelligence” from drone flights on information that might have indicated the location of some of the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls and turned it over to the Nigerian military commanders to pursue, they did nothing with the information.

Pakistan Announces A National Plan To Fight Terrorism, Says Terrorists’ Days Are Numbered

Jordanian Pilot Captured by Islamic State After Warplane Crashes in Syria

Islamic State militants captured a Jordanian pilot after his plane went down during operations by the U.S.-led coalition against the group on Wednesday in northeastern Syria, Jordan’s military said. The Raqqa Media Center, which is sanctioned by Islamic State, claimed the group shot the plane down with antiaircraft guns and the pilot ejected near the city of Raqqa—the capital of a province by the same name that is the seat of Islamic State’s self-proclaimed caliphate.
