Suspected Niger Delta Militants Behead 'Soldier', Kill 3, Abduct Teacher in Akwa Ibom

Suspected Niger Delta militants have reportedly killed a 'soldier' in a bloody shootout carried out by a combined team of soldiers, Department of State Services (DSS) officers, the police and other para-military officers in a raid of militants’ hideout in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, South-South, Nigeria.

Niger Delta: Itsekiri Youths, Edo Community Issue Ultimatum To Oil Firms Over 'Marginalisation', Environmental Degradation

Niger Delta: Itsekiri youths under the aegis of Itsekiri National Youths Council have issued a 21-day ultimatum to multinational oil companies to vacate their land over what they described as undue marginalisation by the Federal Government and oil firms.
