THE kidnap of three children by their nanny for ransom in Surulere, Lagos, the other day has once again brought the danger of domestic help to the fore. Nannies and house-helps have been known to commit all manners of atrocities on their unsuspecting employers. The Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of a Syrian engineer, Mah Nagor, by unknown gunmen. The command’s spokesman, ASP Ismalia Numan, told newsmen on Tuesday in Lafia that Nagor was abducted on Monday at a site in Azara, Awe Local Government Area.

Lebanese Businessman Kidnapped By Gunmen in Ibadan
THE General Manager of Black Horse Industries Limited, Mr. S. Sakalawi, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Lebanese was seized and whisked away by three gunmen, who stormed the factory premises located along Old Lagos Road, Podo area of Ibadan at about 9:30p.m last Tuesday, according to reliable sources.
