How Human Traffickers Tout For Business On Facebook – UK

Social networking platform, Facebook is failing to prevent human traffickers from luring in victims through the social network, law enforcement officials in Britain said on Friday. Criminal gangs are openly advertising “travel agent” style services into Europe, which conceal the risk of death or entrapment, said Chris Hogben, who leads Britain’s Organised Immigration Crime Taskforce.

African Migrants Face Kidnap, Forced Labour In Libyan Gun Town

 Gambian returnee Buba Fabareh was one of 169 migrants to be repatriated from Libya on April 4th this year. He was caught by police in Tripoli and returned to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) who helped him go back home.

Terrorism And Insurgency: France, IOM Launch Project for IDPs in Nigeria

The Embassy of France in Nigeria and International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has launched a project aimed at strengthening access to justice services for people displaced by the Boko Haram conflict living in camps and host communities in Maiduguri, Borno State.
