Nigeria Crime Statistics 2017: Lagos Tops Chart, Kebbi Lowest

Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in its yearly crime statistics released recently on its website said that a total of 134,663 crime cases were reported in 2017 across the 36 states and the federal capital territory (FCT) in 2017.

INTERPOL To Integrate Nigeria Security Agencies To Its Database 

The INTERPOL has agreed to connect the Economic and Financial Fraud Commission (EFCC), Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs Service, and National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking and Persons, National Agency for Foods, and Drugs Administration and Control to its National Data Base tool known as I-24/7. The 190-member body agreed to do this on November 14, 2016.
