Suicide Bomber Kills 10 In A Market In Adamawa State

A suspected suicide bomber blew himself up when he detonated a bomb allegedly said to have tied on his body killing 10 persons.

Report from Gombi town in the local government headquarter in
Adamawa State where the bombing  occurred said 10 persons were killed while many others were
injured.

According to the report, the bomber had like any other person, gone to the Gombi Friday market and quickly detonated the bomb.

Gombi market is a very crowded weekly market  where business especially that of cash crops and grains are patronized by business people from other parts of the country.

Police Public Relations Officer in change Adamawa Police Command ASP  Othman Abubakar which confirming the incident disclosed that about four persons who including the bomber died while over 17 persons were injured and have been rushed to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, some peoples spoken to expressed their regrets over the incident while the Adamawa State House of Assembly has since rushed to the scene  and was seen commiserating with the affected persons.
