Boko Haram Abducts 20 More Girls In Borno

The Boko Haram sect has reportedly abducted over 20 girls in Lassa, a town in Borno State. Quoting a member of the community, Daniel Ibrahim, SaharaReporters stated that the Boko Haram sect also killed many people, mostly old men and women, before they kidnapped the women.

BREAKING: Nigerian Military Intercepts Arms-Laden Russian Plane Bound for Chad


Report reaching our newsdesk indicates that the Nigerian military has confiscated a Russian plane loaded with dangerous arms and ammunition, bound for neighbouring Chad.

Premium Times reports that the aircraft was intercepted early Saturday at the Aminu Kano International Airport.

It was further learnt that the plane, which was heading for N’djamena, the capital of Chad, landed in Kano at about 2 a.m., Nigerian time.
